Itinerary - The final itinerary may change due to weather or any unforeseen
circumstance(s).
Day 1:
We will depart Las Vegas at 9am and head north with the first stop being Zion National
Park. Climbing out of the Mohave Desert you'll travel through red and pink canyon
with towering igneous walls, and to the edge of the Colorado Plateau. Taking a few
stops on the way you'll arrive at Zion in time for an afternoon sunset in the park.
Enjoy a hike or some sightseeing, and as the day comes to a close you'll find yourself
in the quaint town of Springdale, just outside the park for a relaxing stay.(L)

Day 2:
Today allows for some great hiking in Zion National Park. Depending upon the time
of the year, we will hike the famous Virgin River Narrows or Angels Landing. Then
departing late afternoon for the incredibly scenic drive through Long Valley, along
the Sevier River, and eventually to Bryce Canyon where we'll have a chance to see
the sunset over this land of red rock and hoodoos. A stunning and unique geologic
display highlighted by evening hues. We stay in the area at a local lodge and eat
dinner at their restaurant. (B)(L)(D)
Day 3:
A day of hiking through red rock spires and towering arches gives you a memorable
experience at Bryce Canyon National Park before traveling on to your final destination.
After this fantastic southwest experience you'll travel onward to the North Rim
of Grand Canyon for a sunset walk on the rim, and a cocktail on the porch overlooking
the canyon. This is where you spend the nest 2 nights. (B)(L)(D)
Day 4:
Spend the full day on a hike below the rim of the Grand Canyon to a cascading waterfall
known as Roaring Springs. Here we will have an opportunity to cool off in the spring
fed Bright Angel Creek before making our big climb back to the North Rim. For those
not looking for such a big day of hiking will enjoy some of the rim trails that
take you to amazing vistas that you only see in postcards. We will enjoy our final
dinner here, and stay another night. (B) (L) (D)
Day 5:
An early start gives you the opportunity to check out one last trail, or view from
the North Rim before departing by mid-day to Las Vegas. The drive takes you down
off of the plateaus and back into the Mohave Desert returning to the Las Vegas Strip,
or airport by 4pm. If the group gets going early enough, we may even have time for
a stop at Valley of Fire. (B) (L)
For groups of 4 or more customize your trip. Adding more 2 days will allow some
time to explore some of the most famous slot canyons in Escalante, if not the whole
world. Before heading to the North Rim of Grand Canyon.
