Day 1:
We will meet at the Wilderness Center near Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite National Park at 10am. Here we will have an orientation, fit packs, and get on the trail. Our trek begins on The John Muir Trail and travels along beautiful Tuolumne River through Lyell Canyon. We will have plenty of time to play in the water, and enjoy a relaxing evening at our camp near the river. 5 miles hiked (L) (D)

Day 2:
After breakfast we will begin our hike with a gradual climb out of Lyell Canyon through Lodge pole and White Bark Pine forests. The trail takes us out of the forest to a high point offering amazing views, and then past crystal clear mountain lakes. We will enjoy a short visit at the Vogelsang High Sierra Camp, and then leave the crowds behind to find our peaceful wilderness camp near Vogelsang Lake. This camp is above tree line nestled among granite boulders. Dare to take a swim in the refreshing Vogelsang Lake. 8 miles hiked (B) (L) (D)

Day 3:
Today's hike begins with a summit of Vogelsang Peak (11,500ft) Wow! Drink in the views of hundreds of craggy granite peaks in every direction. As we retreat from the summit we will hike over Vogelsang Pass, and down below tree line, and along Lewis Creek. Departing Lewis Creek we travel north along Fletcher Creek to the west of Vogelsang and camp at Emeric Lake (9,338ft). 9 miles hiked (B) (L) (D)

Day 4:
