Professional Guiding Experience: 17 years

Eddie is the FSG Operations Manager, bringing more than 15 years of backcountry leadership and program management experience to the team. Growing up in Mississippi, Eddie developed a love for the outdoors at a young age thanks to his father, an avid outdoorsman who instilled in him the importance of conservation and responsible recreation. Since 2009, he has guided backpacking trips across the Desert Southwest and Northern Rocky Mountains, sharing both his technical expertise and his passion for connecting people to the natural world.



In addition to overseeing operations and managing programs, Eddie continues to spend as much time in wild spaces as possible. When he’s not working, he can be found hiking remote desert trails, exploring canyons, or snowboarding Utah’s winter backcountry. Eddie’s leadership style blends professionalism with approachability, grounded in a belief that the outdoors is a place for growth, connection, and unforgettable experiences."
